Zicaffe - Coffee Espresso Miscela Bar, 2.20lb whole beans
Zicaffè Miscela Bar has nearly reached cult status in Germany. Since some aficionados of coffee, some of whom order regularly from us, voted Zicaffè Gusto Rosso into the Olympus of the typical Italian espressos and made it known in various coffee forums we keep getting request for more.
Zicaffè comes from Marsala in Sicily where people like to socialise and tell each other the latest stories of the day. The farther South you get in Italy the more you can immerse yourself in this lifestyle of pleasure and passion. Zicaffè Gusto Rosso fits the picture perfectly. It consists of 80% Arabica coffees from various Central American origins and 20% Indonesian Robusta beans from the best of that origin. The second part is just as important, i.e. the roasting, mastered by Zicaffè Baristas. Now and then a little parlare, a little siesta and one or the other cup of espresso, all beside the job and yet, or may be just because of that, Zicaffè Gusto Rosso produces a marvellous experience time and again.
As is typical in the deep South of Italy Zicaffè Gusto Rosso is a medium-strength coffee with very good crema and a harmonious medium caffeine content. Its flavour is full-bodied, chocolaty and its aroma is splendid. The question arises: how do they do that?
