The coffee for VEE Tanzania Kilimanjaro grows at an altitude of between 1300 and 1800m on the southern foothills of the Kilimanjaro (5895m), the highest mountain in Southern Africa.

Only pure 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee of which there are too many fake beans around make for an absolute pleasure and even cause the most renowned experts to go crazy about it. The small amount that reaches the world market a year makes it the rarest and most expensive coffee in the world. However, as soon as you have had a cup of it you know why it is the Barolo amongst the coffees. Still today, the raw coffee is shipped in wooden barrels, a clear sign for its special nature. The typical medium-strength roast which only experienced roasters carry out bring out the typical characteristics of this coffee and its particular richness and body.
Apart from that, Blue Mountain is absolutely breathtaking for connoisseurs, well rounded and full in flavour, harmonious, fruity and has well balanced acidity. The aroma is intense and strong; the flavour lasts unusually long and unfolds only when you sip it.
This Jamaica Blue Mountain comes from small selected plantations on the famous Wallenford Estate Farm, which are the flagship for this coffee worldwide. Unfortunately, Japan buys the biggest share of the crop years in advance, which is why not much is available on the market. The price becomes relative very quickly when you think that you have the best of all coffees from one of the world’s best roasters. You only need 7g of this first-class coffee, i.e. 250g make more than 35 cups at a price of 85 Cents each. |
