Pellini Espresso Top Class 100% Arabica is the prestigious brand and Pellini’s flagship. That is why only the best high-grown coffees, certified under EU directive 2092/91 as organic coffee, are used. As with all high-grade coffees the proper selection of Arabica varietals matters for Pellini Top Class 100% Arabica. Normally 6 to 8 different varietals are used, a) for achieving the richness and balancing acidity; one to two varietals for carrying the aroma and, above all the full-bodied coffees for flavour. All this marries individual beans into a perfect first-class blend. Slow and gentle hand-roasting in a rotating drum is another aspect for combining all aromatic components and almost completely extracting bitter acidity from the washed Arabica beans. Pellini Caffè’s head office is situated in Via Giulari on the northern edge of Verona. They also use the names Sao Kaffee, Caffè Roberta, Mokalceste, Moka Adi, UIK, Eda and Las Crema del Caffè for their roasts. |
