Jolly Caffè Crema was voted number one coffee ahead of Illy in a major espresso test held by L’Assagiatore.

An absolutely first-class coffee. Jolly Espresso Crema is the most prestigious brand of Jolly roasters from Grassina near Florence in Tuscany. What is pleasant with Jolly is that they d not have 10 to 15 different brands like many others, unfortunately, but they concentrate on their original Jolly Crema and this really is a masterpiece. Up to 12 different highland Arabica coffees from different origins are used for Jolly Espresso Crema which certified as organic coffee under EU directive 2092/91. As will all first-class coffees only the best products are selected for Jolly Crema espresso.

In order to achieve the optimum flavour of this Gourmet espresso each coffee is being separately roasted and then added to the blend. The slow and gentle roasting in a rotating drum ensures a thorough roast so that even in not so good years a perfect result is possible. This way each varietal contributes to an optimum result, one to the variety and harmony of aromatic ingredients, the other to balancing acidity, fruity overtones, body, richness or the lasting fragrance and presence. After roasting and cooling, the coffees are mixed into a perfect blend. This procedure is much more elaborate; however, we gain much inspiration from Jolly Espresso Crema as a result.

The L’Assagiatore testers voted this coffee number one ahead of Illy in a major espresso test. Each pack has the Miscela Qualificato per Espresso Italian. The caffeine content is only 1.5%.
