Elegant - simply phenomenal.
Smooth, harmonious, chocolaty and delightful presence.
The Name Izzo Espresso 100% Arabica sounds rather unspectacular, however, the richness and aroma of this Izzo Espresso 100% Arabica will impress you. In contrast to Izzo Espresso Neapolitano this coffee consists of 100% of the best highland Arabica coffees money can buy on the world market. Fragrance and aroma are bewitching, smooth, mellow and harmonious. You will almost inevitably become a coffee aficionado. It offers the whole range of what coffee pleasure means to you.
The coffees are slowly roasted at relatively high temperatures for about 18 minutes. This procedure reduces the acidity, bitter and other negative substances to an absolute minimum, the typical coffee features such as richness and aroma on the other hand are brought out. This is also the reason why the roasted beans have an even, nearly shiny surface. This roasting technique which only a few top producers apply is very elaborate as it takes a lot of accuracy and only small batches can be processed at a time.
Like Kimbo Izzo roasters are based the Italian province Campania, or exactly speaking in Boscoreale near Pompeii. In contrast to Kimbo Caffè which is undisputed as number one brand of the Neapolitans Izzo mainly exports to the whole world. Since they set great store by visual as well as product quality they developed a tin similar to the system Illy uses too: the tin is equipped with a special aroma filter. An additional airtight lid prevents the beans from loosing aroma or flavour once the tin has been opened.
When Antonio Nurri of Izzo roasters in Boscoreale near Naples present the coffee to me for the first time we were rather hesitant because of Kimbo coffee. But with each day passing the fragrance and bouquet of this coffee grew more elegant than the day before. Try for yourself, shake the tin a little and sniff the bewitching aroma of Izzo 100% Arabica. This coffee will take you by storm.
