Hausbrandt Gourmet is the company’s most prestigious brand in ground coffees and reflects the exact quality-based production of Torrefazione Hausbrandt SpA from Trieste. Like other quality-conscious roasters Hausbrandt uses twelve different high-grown coffees which are also certified as organic coffee under EU directive 2092/91. In order to achieve the optimum flavour of this Gourmet espresso each coffee is being separately roasted and then added to the blend. The slow and gentle roasting in a rotating drum ensures a thorough roast so that even in not so good years a perfect result is possible. All significant components such as balanced acidity, aromatic substances and full-bodied flavour can develop to the full. This procedure is much more elaborate than many conventional coffees; however, we enjoy the best possible flavour as a result. The caffeine content is only 1.5%. Hausbrandt Gourmet is also very recommendable as office coffee, for drip brewing and the classical Bialetti Moka Express. With the relatively simple Bialetti Moka Express you can get better coffees and espressos using Hausbrandt Gourmet than with some cheap espresso machines. You will be really surprised.
