Hausbrandt coffee from Trieste is one of the major Italian brand names.
Decaffeinated coffee with full aroma and flavour.
Only the best Arabica beans from South American highlands which are pulped and fermented are used for Hausbrandt Espresso Decaffeinato. In order to achieve a perfect flavour the coffees are roasted separately and blended with washed Arabica from Kenya and Guatemala. After pulping, fermentation, drying and gentle roasting the beans are processed in such a fashion that only caffeine is extracted and flavour and aroma remain intact. Hausbrandt roasters guarantee a caffeine content of below 0.1%.
2.2lb Hausbrandt coffee make about 140 cups so that one cup is just about £0.12. From this point of view it is not really cheap but good value for the money for this high-class coffee.
